Our dried flower bunches on TV – Escape to the Chateau

Posted on by Ruth

We love Escape to the Chateau!

It’s a great show on Channel 4 in which Dick and Angel Strawbridge buy and do up a French chateau. Series one covered the basic renovations of the chateau and series two, in which the couple start to earn an income from their investment, has just aired.
escape to the chateau asked for dried flowersDick and Angel clearly have such a good relationship, and it has been lovely to see such a beautiful old building restored to its former glory. The reality of the show is also refreshing as the couple do not have unlimited funds and have to renovate a little at a time as income allows.

Soon after watching series one, we were very excited when the team asked if we could help them out with some dried flower bunches for series two! Angel wanted dried flowers for general decoration of the chateau, and for wedding decorations for the first ceremony to be held there as part of their new business.

We were so lucky that Dick and Angel loved our flowers!

Since we received the dried flowers from Daisy Shop, the chateau has been filled with beautiful aromas, delicate colours and textures. We were so impressed with how well the flowers travelled, the speedy and helpful service and the huge variety on offer. We used Daisy Shop for our first wedding at the chateau to create a vintage flower look and we will definitely be using them again. We can’t recommend them highly enough.”

And on their website they wrote,

gorgeous dried flowers to order online, perfect for a vintage wedding flower look.”

Hi I’m Ruth – I love writing about plants, nature, dried flowers, wildflowers and crafts. You can find out more about me here.

I have run a dried flower and lavender business in the UK since 2002. This means I am experienced in dried flower craft, but also am biased towards my own products – I can’t help but be proud of what I do! Find out more about Daisy Gifts Ltd® at our sister site daisyshop.co.uk

Thanks very much to all the lovely people who ask about buying custom handmade arrangements and bouquets – I’m afraid I don’t offer this service anymore, but we do sell the flowers you need to make your own.
