Ruth,
I am trying to locate a supplier of a dried flower called Caspia. The only one a web search in the UK has located has no stock of these. Do you know of this flower and possibly can point me in the right direction. US suppliers will not ship internationally, only via a third party shipping co. and that makes what should be a fairly cheap and light package stupidly expensive. Thanks for any advice,
Andrew.
Hi Andrew,
I must admit I had not heard of caspia, but I did a google image search, and it looks very much like sea lavender (limonium) to me. I do have a limited stock of these in pink or a silvery lavender colour that were dried here in our workshop. You might want to have a look at this page and see if its what you were thinking of. There are 3 different photos at the bottom of the page. http://www.daisyshop.co.uk/shop/article_697.002/Sea-Lavender-dried-flower-bunch.html
Best wishes, Ruth.
I have just spent a very happy couple of hours reading the article on your blog and looking at the beautiful photos. Thank you- I feel inspired! Consider yourself bookmarked.
I would like to give my grand daughter aged nine the ingredients for a pot pourri. . Please can you advise as to which ingredients would be best and the
quantities for a small bowl. Perhaps you know where I could vet a kit if that would be best. Thank you.
Hi Caroline – thanks for your message, I have emailed you with some ideas. Let me know how it goes!
please could you give me a price for 1kg and 2kg of white dried statice flower,,i bought it in bulk a few years ago and cant get it in bulk ,,,
Hi Sue,
You can buy this at daisyshop.co.uk we call it statice dumosa, but we don’t sell it by weight, just by the bunch I’m afraid. One bunch of this is usually 100g or less. Best wishes, Ruth
