Installations and XL floristry
I love a big dried flower project! There’s nothing more inspiring than seeing dried flowers used en masse. Be it window displays, cinematic creations or artistic installations, I’m a fan!
Ads and photo shoots
Dried Lagurus for Churchill Insurance
This is such a gorgeous ad – you’d almost assume it was computer generated! But no, they used a sea of dyed Lagurus grass bunches. This is how dogs dream :) Watch the whole video

Country Living mag
Living in the country just has to embrace nature, so dried flowers are often used in styling for the magazine. On this recent book cover you can see Helichrysum (centre), Ammi (bottom right), and pink Delphinium (top right). Photo shoots might be small scale like this, or encompass whole rooms or houses.

Shop and venue dressing
Festival decor
Country Living created this refreshment marquee with a vintage feel and dried flowers on the tables.

Bleached Ruscus in Copenhagen
Spotted in a department store in the Danish capital, this dried foliage hoop was at least a metre across and was part of a winter themed display during Christmas market season.

Pop up shops and market stalls
Dried flowers make a fab display when grouped together. Our shop has sold to numerous high profile customers over the years including Wakehurst Place (an outpost of Kew Gardens), the Royal Yacht Britannia, Chelsea Physic Garden, Cath Kidston and the Courtauld Gallery. In the pic below are dried grasses such as Oats, Wheat and Stipa, pink Acroclinium daisies, yellow Lona and small batch botanical potpourri.

Disney and big films
Do you remember the poster for Mamma Mia 2 with all that dried bougainvillea petal confetti? Or here’s a pic from Beauty and the Beast with a whole cartload of dried lavender bunches.

Art installations
Rosebud wall
This gallery wall was decorated with dried rose buds.

Fresh peonies ceiling installation
I love this creation by Jo Malone. The great thing about hanging peonies is that they will naturally dry in situ to make a long lasting display. A similar effect can be created using dahlias: the top image on this page shows dahlias hanging up to dry.

National Trust Cotehele

Weddings
What bigger display do most people put on than a wedding? Dried flowers can play a massive part in the whole event from flower arches and photo walls, table centres and place settings. Bridal bouquets, bridesmaid flowers, buttonholes, flower crowns, hair accessories, flower girl baskets, confetti, rose petal paths, chair dressings, venue flowers, garlands and wedding favours to name but a few!
